How We're Going to Do It

Optimize your site for the search engines. We’ll make sure that when your ideal prospects turn to Google, they’ll find you regardless of where they are on their customer journey. This may require some additional changes to your website. 

Run ad campaigns that convert. We’ll run targeted, digital ads on search and social platforms that will put your message in front of your ideal customers. 

Deliverables

Local & Organic SEO

We’re recommending a 6 or 12 month engagement to improve your standing in both the organic and local search results. Over the course of that time we will:

  • Research the keywords that your ideal customers are using at the search engines
  • Develop a keyword strategy for all the current and needed pages for your website
  • Review your closest competitors for how they rank for your desired keywords
  • Create an editorial calendar for creating keyword-rich blog posts that will drive top-of-funnel search traffic
  • Optimize your Google Business Profile and make continual improvements for local search visibility 
  • Monthly reporting on search visibility, ranking, traffic, and other KPIs
  • Monthly meeting to review report and provide strategy and guidance

Estimate: 2K/mo

The above estimate does not include content creation, such as SEO copyediting of existing pages, or SEO copywriting of new pages and blog posts. 

If you’d like to add that to the mix, I recommend that we write 2 pages/posts a month, including a mix of updating or creating new service pages, community pages, and blog posts.

Google Ads (Paid Search)

When people are actively searching for your services, Google Ads ensures you appear on the first page of Google.

We can target based on location, time of day, and of course, keywords.

Deliverables include:

  • Keyword research specific to paid search
  • Creation of ads
  • Creation of one landing page per campaign
  • Regular monitoring of ads, turning down/off underperforming ads and moving the spend to more effective ads
  • A/B split testing as needed
  • Monthly reporting 
  • 24/7 access to dashboards on your ad campaigns
  • Monthly meetings with your Paid Search Expert

Estimate: 1K/mo to manage the account, minimum 6 mos.

Management fees do not include ad spend. Most of our clients spend between 1.5K – 5K/mo in ad spend (paid direct to Google,) and standard practice is to start at 1.5K/mo for a new account.

We will conduct keyword research to determine the ideal budget for you. Keyword cost varies by location and search frequency, and through this research we’re able to predict the cost-per-click of your potential keywords. The cost-per-click value allows us to get an approximate idea of the maximum number of clicks you can expect to receive every month within our suggested budget, and how many you can expect to receive within our minimum spend of 1.5K/month (if you choose not to exceed that amount).

Facebook & Instagram Advertising

As I believe we discussed, I don’t feel that Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising will be as effective as Google Ads. That’s because when people go to Google, they are actively searching for a solution. When people go to Facebook or Instagram, they’re generally looking to be entertained or connect with friends and family.

However, there’s an argument to be made that we can target locally for your location(s), or target people who have visited the website but left before filling out your contact form. This wouldn’t be my first place to market your business, but I did want to include some pricing in case you wanted to try this as well, or add it on down the line.

Deliverables include:

  • Creation of ads including headers, body copy, images*, and video**
  • Creation of one landing page per campaign
  • Regular monitoring and refreshing of ads
  • A/B split testing as needed
  • Monthly reporting 
  • 24/7 access to dashboards on your ad campaigns

Email Marketing

We can help you develop a strategy to increase email signups for your email newsletter, and help you send out regular emails to your audience.

We can pull new and existing content from the website to populate these newsletters, and handle the regular publication.

This may include developing a lead magnet that would attract your audience and customizing the design of your newsletter.

Project

Website redesign, SEO, and Paid Search

Objectives

  • Merge multiple websites into one

Summary

MIPR, the Maine Industrial Plastic & Rubber Corporation, was running multiple websites, each focusing on one product line. The sites were designed at different times and didn’t have a consistent look and feel.

They were also seeing increased competition at the search engines. Despite being an early adopter of digital marketing, other companies with significantly bigger budgets were starting to take market share.

Process

flyte created a new, mobile-friendly design for the corporate website. Product specific sites were shuttered; content was updated and brought over to the main site. This made updating and maintaining the websites easier for MIPR, and also did a better job of showing off the breadth of their products and offerings.

Keyword research helped uncover the best keywords, finding new opportunities to get discovered at the search engines. An SEO copywriter was brought in to write compelling, optimized copy that ranked well and turned visitors into customers.

Results

MIPR’s search traffic went from 750 visits a month to just shy of 1,400 a year later, and currently averages over 2,000 visits from search each month.

Website inquiries nearly doubled from 25 per month to 46 per month in the first year, and now regularly range from high 50’s to low 70’s.
